The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. When Jesus saves us, he saves us into an eternal family—a family with whom we pursue and enjoy Him together.
When we join a church, we’re linking arms with a group of people with whom we can live out the Christian life—people with whom we will be cared for and equipped. Simply put, when we join a church, we are saying, “These are the people with whom I’m going to follow Jesus.”
Church membership at Hope Hill is not about adding another name to a roster; it’s about welcoming someone to the family. Becoming a member means that you’re committing to being an active part of the work God is doing here, and giving us the opportunity to commit to care for you. Being a church member is one of the best ways you can put your gifts to work and make a difference here and in our community.
We have only a few simple requirements for membership:
- You have entered into a saving relationship with Jesus (The most important thing!)
- You have experienced believer’s baptism.
- You have completed Discover Hope Hill.
- You have read and affirm our Statement of Faith.
