“Has God not made foolish the wisdom of the world?”
O God who has made me body and soul,
who knit me in my mother’s womb,
who offers abundant life now amd forever:
Search my heart and call to my attention emotions and worries in need of redemption.
In these silent moments I offer these to you, for you alone are my Redeemer.
Search my mind and call to my attention thoughts, impressions and prejudices in need of redemption.
In these silent moments I offer these to you, for you alone are my Redeemer.
Search my body and call to my attention habits, desires, tasks and work in need of redemption.
In these silent moments I offer these to you, for you alone are my Redeemer.
Search my soul and call to my attention lusts, jealously, anger, malice, strife, and sin in need of redemption.
In these silent moments I offer these to you, for you alone are my Redeemer.
Thank you Holy Spirit for your guiding presence, and for knowing me heart, mind, body and soul. In your strength alone may I find the power amd wisdom to seek redemption in my life and freedom from the foolishness of the world.
Amen
